Poem

HOMEBOUND (june 7th 2006)

Why do I follow the
Traces of you, coming back ?
I'm lost deep within the
Flashes of time, out of track.
But somehow, feels like I'm going home.
Yeah I'm coming home
In my mind, full of holes.

I'm on my way
Backwards, to meet you.
So will you let me stay ?
And please don't run away
From my mind, full of holes.

YO

Tu sais frerot,

Well, I just got a new job. I'm still in probationary position so I'm not getting the full pay but I bet I'm getting some huge sum. Plus, my job is to basically sit down and wait. I get a comfy office of my own and I get to hang out with some cute Chinese chicks in the office.

I'd like to say I'm busy, too... but I don't think being busy waiting sounds a little fair...

Well, good luck to us on doin' what we're doing!

Take care, dude!

Quote: Not giving / receiving presents ? Man, i'd hate that (yeah, i got lots of books and chocolates *urgh... full stomach*).
Hum, traditionnal food is great though, and think about the person who made it, you should be thankful ^_^... plus it also gives a more 'dignified' feeling to the meal no ? Christmas spirit :)

Anyway, take care and have fun

anj

i'll be getting some presents from friends so at least that's something! what kind of books did you get? books on medicine? ;)
Well, i've never really liked the traditional food we eat at christmas. I don¨t eat christmas ham, janssons frestelse or some of the other things that come on the table, which means i mostly eat meatballs and sausages, and although i like those dishes i get tired of them when we always have them on our easter, midsummer and christmas table. i want to be able to enjoy the meal more, and i would if there was something i¨d actually want to eat. this year i celebrated my first thanksgiving here in tokyo and i loved that food! wouldn't mind eating turkey and pumpkin soup at christmas! although we didn¨t have any turkey...
so, how about getting facebook? interested? www.facebook.com

nina

Anj! Glad to hear you're having fun. ^^
Ugh...studies here take forever! I've still about 3 and a half more years before graduation...though I'm already doing some hospital work (sans any salary/allowance at that! HAH!).
I love the work; still, it's nice to get a reprieve once in a while. I return to the real world on the 3rd of the new year since I've been good. ^^
Oh, and I added 'ya to my friendlist.
That said, happy new year! ^^

Hey there! Merry christmas and a happy new year to you too!
I was actually logged in here a couple of days ago. Looked for your email so I could invite you to facebook, but I guess you don't use that email anymore?
How are you doing? How has your christmas holiday been so far? Did you receive any nice gifts? What's the plan for new years?
Hope you're well! I try to check in here soon again if I can remember.

Nina

Merry Christmas, Anj! ^^
It's a good thing I have some reprieve for the holidays from hospital duty. Haha...almost didn't feel like it was Christmas, y'know, working hard and all.
Anyways, best holiday wishes again, buddy! ^^

Quote by AnjhurinI definitely love the perspective here. The ground texture is pretty nice too, it has the grainy touch one would expect. I like the light effects in the sky too, especially the clearer part near the top, though i don't understand why your sky gets clearer near the ground.
The colors are really nice.

Thumbs up and fav :D

is clear near to background for the heat that reflects the concrete.
merci pour le favori.

Quote by AnjhurinHum, the color is really soft and nice, and the stance is cool. Your shading is a bit rough, but otherwise it's okay. Though as acid said, it's true that your character looks 'surprised' in a way, not really fitting the mood :).

Thumbs up :D

Quote by AnjhurinOh... Is your sig img (the one you made for the MT maigetsu) extendable into a banner ? It could look good too :)

Anyway, i hope there'll be lots more entries, so come on minna-san !

You know, I was thinking of that too... maybe when I get some time this weekend I'll try to make one ^^

Quote by AnjhurinHey there Danielly ^_^

To answer your question, i'm from the south of france, someplace called Nimes (it's like, a little above the Mediterranean sea)... ahah, but why are you interested in that ? You've been in france before ?

Anyway, keep on submitting your art, i like it a lot ;)

Quote by AnjhurinThat's some huge house he seems to have... must be loaded :). Anyway, i love the little details everywhere (the snowmen are so cool), and the shading is well done.
I'm not too sure about the girl being somewhat in chibbi form when the guys are more in 'normal' form. Anyway, it's quite funny, and i definitely looove the paper you use ;).

Thumbs up :D

i love the paper too XD
thanks so much for the comment ^^
she's not in chibi form she's just a kid ^^
and thanks for noticing my snowmen you were the only one that had talked about them ^.~
